Before you install
Check the publisher, source and device requirements. An illustration of a phone does not establish that a PHOPEN application is available.
During setup
Read the application’s privacy information and permissions. Keep your device updated and avoid storing credentials on a device shared with others.
If an app does not open
Record the error, check storage and restart the application. Use the publisher’s support instructions rather than an unrelated replacement download.
Return to browser access
A browser may provide an alternative where supported. App availability and features must be checked at the actual destination.
Compare mobile options
Browser access and installed applications can differ in available features, update methods and storage use. Start with the option that supports your device and the task you need. A home-screen shortcut may simply open a website; it does not necessarily install a separate application. Check the information presented by the provider before treating these options as interchangeable.
Manage your mobile session
On a shared device, avoid saving credentials and sign out when finished. Review notification permissions before allowing messages on a lock screen. Keep the operating system and browser updated, and confirm that automatic password filling uses the intended account. When changing devices, use the account provider’s documented verification process.
Review updates and permissions
Read release information when an update changes permissions or how an account is accessed. If an application stops responding, close and reopen it before making larger changes. Clearing storage or reinstalling can remove local settings, so check recovery options first. Use Support for connection checks and Download for installation-source considerations.
